Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Kavgić

Aleksandar Kavgic is an Assistant Professor of English Language and Linguistics and the Vicedirector of Translation and Interpretation Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of English, University of Novi Sad. His research interests include corpus linguistics, translation studies and e-learning technologies in the domain of language and linguistics teaching. He has published papers in several academic journals, has contributed articles to festschrifts and conference proceedings, and has presented at several dozens of conferences, ranging in scope from contemporary linguistics, cultural linguistics, diachronic linguistics, corpus linguistics and computer aided translation. In total, he has authored almost 50 scientific articles in journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, Aleksandar has been involved in many international and regional programs, including TEMPUS, Erasmus+ and H2020 projects.
