E-VIVA Project is presented among other successful projects funded by the European Commission

Representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina at SSST

 

In February 2019, University SSST Computer Science and Information (CSIS) Department along with the Office for International Collaboration and Research had the pleasure to organize a meeting with the representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this occasion, the team was able to present the work of our CSIS department on a newly approved CBHE Erasmus+ project, “E-VIVA” that is currently in its preparation stage.

 

Kick off meeting in Tirana

 

In February 2019, the kick off meeting of the EVIVA project took place at the premises of the European Univesity of Tirana, Albania. The project partners gathered together in these two intensive working days, with the aim to set core values of the common work and to distribute the tasks for the next three years ahead. The event was also greeted by Mrs. Aida Breti, National Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Albania.

Info Week 6-10 May 2019 – dissemination

During the week of 6-10th of May 2019, which coincides with the European week, the University of Elbasan “Aleksander Xhuvani” organized the Erasmus+ info days with the participation of many universities from different EU countries, and not only, with which the University of Elbasan have agreements of cooperation and partnership in different fields. During this week, various activities were organized as well as an Erasmus + Fair where the University of Elbasan and the partner universities presented themselves to the students and invited them to apply for mobilities and short term study exchanges.

An important part of this fair was the presentation of the “E-Viva – Enhancing and Validating servIce related competences in Versatile learning environments in Western BAlkan Universities” – a Capacity Building in Higher Education project in which the University of Elbasan is a partner. The students and all the participants were introduced with the purpose and objectives of this project, the project partners, as well as the activities planned to be developed during this year in the framework of this project.

This event was attended by representatives of the Erasmus + Albania Office, who actively attributed to the participants the many opportunities offered by the Erasmus + program, funded by EU, not only for students but also for all the academic and administrative staff of the university.

National Erasmus+ Information Day at University of Montenegro in Podgorica

 

National Erasmus+ Information Day for 2019 call for proposals was held on November 13, 2018 at the premises of Rectorate building, University of Montenegro in Podgorica.

Information Day was an opportunity for participants to get familiarized with the novelties of the fortcoming call for proposals within capacity building in higher education (CBHE), International Credit Mobility (ICM), Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, as well as the Jean Monnet action.

Information Day was also an opportunity to present results of the previous call for proposals as well as to promote newly selected projects within CBHE action.

Presentation of the newly selected capacity building projects, focusing on benefits for Montenegrin institutions, higher education reform agenda, and society on the whole included the presentation of  “Enhancing and Validating service related competences in Versatile learning environments in Western Balkan Universities”, Branko Bošković, University of Donja Gorica

Launching event of E-VIVA

On October 12th, on the occasion of Erasmus Days, organized by Albanian National Erasmus+ Office and hosted by UET, the EVIVA Erasmus+ CBHE project was launched. This has been an event dedicated to all successful projects from Albania and as an innovative and challenging project, EVIVA was launched by the Rector Prof. dr. Tonin Gjuraj, the project manager Dr. Ketrina Mijo and greeted by Mr. Oltion Pengu, representative of NEO in Albania.
